Professor Dame Alison Peacock

Prior to becoming CEO of the Chartered College of Teaching, Professor Dame Alison Peacock was Executive Headteacher of The Wroxham School in Hertfordshire. Her career to date has spanned primary, secondary and advisory roles. In 2018, she became an Honorary Fellow of Queen's College, Cambridge, one of the first ever female Fellows admitted. She is also a Visiting Professor of both the University of Hertfordshire and Glyndwr University. 

Councillor Mohammed Iqbal MBE

Iqbal is the Leader of Pendle Borough Council representing the Bradley Ward.  As well as leading the borough of Pendle, Labour’s Councillor Iqbal is also a Lancashire County Councillor, representing the Brierfield and Nelson West division since 2009 and serves on the health scrutiny committee. He received an MBE for Public Service in the Queen's Honours List in 2020.

Mrs Tomlinson loves working alongside him as Vice Chair to his Chair of Governors role at Pendle Vale College.

Peter Hall Jones

Peter is an internationally renowned speaker, known for his ability to engage, entertain, inform and inspire. As a former early years teacher, Peter is a natural storyteller with the ability to bring concepts and messages to life in an exciting, meaningful way.

Pete works with Barrowford Primary School challenging us to innovate and make our school better every day.

He is a very good friend and mentor to Mrs Tomlinson but NOT her personal stroganoff chef!
